Platinum printing is a contact process, a large format negative of the same size as the desired print size must be produced before a print is made. We have dedicated years of research to develop our method of producing large format negatives using newly available digital technologies. We are able to create negatives that rival all of the qualities once only found in traditional negatives (sharpness, tonal range, and shadow/ highlight separation, etc.).
This process achieves a degree of control not possible in traditional analog negatives, it produces excellent results directly from digital camera files, and allows for a uniquely accurate on screen preview of the final platinum/ palladium print.
